"Tú eres mi otro yo.
You are my other me.
Si te hago daño a ti,
If I do harm to you,
Me hago daño a mi mismo.
I do harm to myself.
Si te amo y respeto,
If I love and respect you,
Me amo y respeto yo.
I love and respect myself"
"Finding yourself"
In Lak’ech comes from Maya wisdom and means “I am you, and you are me.” It honors the interconnectedness of our humanity — reminding us that healing, dignity, and wellbeing grow through our relationships with ourselves and one another.
The story behind the logo
Our logo is a story in itself. It reflects the growth of a community sustained by its roots, the richness of diversity interwoven in a mosaic of identities, and the continuity of life represented in an eternal circle. The color contrasts express human duality, reminding us that light and shadow coexist in balance.
Tree
Like a tree, we grow and change with the seasons; we may bend and sway but stand tall in our resilience. Like trees, we grow individually and in community, interconnected to one another.
Roots
The importance of knowing where we come from, and understanding ours, our families, communities, and society histories. It also represents our understanding of our connection to ourselves and others.
Mosaic
Represents the diversity of stories, identities, origins, and struggles we each experience. Honoring the distinct colors and difference without making one more important than another, while highlighting the beauty of coming together. It also expresses the interaction between different parts of our identity and intersectionalities.
Black, white, and color
The juxtaposition represents the duality of being human and the way in which we are both darkness and light, success and failure, joy and suffering.
Circle
Has no beginning or end. It represents the passing of time, learning, and change. It also represents interconnectedness, the spirit of In Lak’ech, and finding ourselves in others.
In Lak'ech Values
The values that guide us are felt in every action: the constant pursuit of integral well-being, conscious presence in every encounter, openness to growth as an endless path, and a deep commitment to diversity and justice as the foundation of all transformation.
We all deserve emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellness. True wellness comes from a holistic approach that honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, heart, and soul. In both individual and collective spaces, I help people, families, and organizations move toward healing by recognizing that wellness looks different for everyone. Whether in therapy, education, or consulting, I create space for growth, self-discovery, and connection, supporting each unique path toward well-being.
Allows us to live with intentionality, purpose, and authenticity. It is the foundation of presence—helping individuals, groups, and organizations engage meaningfully with themselves and others. Through mindfulness, we cultivate liberation from limiting beliefs, assumptions, and past experiences, empowering both personal and systemic transformation. By fostering critical consciousness, I support clients in navigating their inner world and communities with clarity, compassion, and integrity.
An ongoing journey, both individually and collectively. I believe that people, families, and organizations are capable of transformation, resilience, and self-improvement. Change is not only possible but necessary for progress. Whether in therapy, consultation, or educational spaces, I guide individuals and groups in embracing challenges, expanding perspectives, and becoming the best version of themselves while honoring where they are in their journey.
I am committed to centering diversity, equity, and justice in all that I do. Whether working one-on-one, within communities, or at an organizational level, I affirm and honor the lived experiences of those I serve. My work is grounded in creating inclusive, culturally responsive, and affirming spaces where people from all backgrounds feel seen, valued, and supported. I actively challenge systemic inequities and advocate for social change, ensuring that healing, growth, and transformation are accessible to all.
